USA Achieves Number 1 Market Status
As we close out the year, we'd like
to share in our joy over the news of
the strong tourism recovery we are
experiencing from the U.S. to South
Africa. Thank you to our valued
partners in the travel trade for
sending your clients back to South
Africa this year, and for your
forward bookings in 2024 and beyond.
As we write this, the U.S. market is
94% recovered year-to-date
(January-October) compared to 2019
and is currently the #1 overseas
market for tourism arrivals! To put
this into perspective, we closed out
the full year 2022 at 70% of 2019
arrivals, so as the year winds down,
we will surely be reflecting on this
tremendous recovery.
